YOUR MENTOR – Emmanuelle Brown
The owner and director of The Well Being Centre & Chirn Park Pilates & Yoga studio. After 15 years of working within the health and wellness industry Emmanuelle continues to educate herself by exploring all facets of the mind and body. She returns to Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram every year to contemplate in retreat under the guidance of her guru Yogrishi Vishvketu. Emmanuelle is known for her life-affirming and exuberant teaching style, offering her years of experience elegant tantric philosophy and healing techniques that embody her own practice. Her focus is to creatively inspire her students so they may learn to facilitate their own growth within the realms of spirituality and the healing of mind, body and spirit.
Gregor Maehle – began his yogic practices thirty-nine years ago. In the mid-1980s he commenced annual travels to India, where he studied with various yogic and tantric masters, traditional Indian sadhus and ascetics. He spent fourteen months in Mysore, and in 1997 was authorised to teach Ashtanga Yoga by K. Pattabhi Jois. Since then he has branched out into researching the anatomical alignment of postures and the higher limbs of yoga. He gained his anatomical knowledge through a Health Practitioner degree and has also studied history, philosophy and comparative religion.
Alex O’Brien – At a young age Alex was introduced to yoga and immediately fell in love with the practise. Alex turned to yoga as a way of relieving anxiety and found it extremely useful for spiritual and mental healing. After 2 more years practising under her mentor Emmanuelle Brown, Alex became super enthused to explore the yogic path, as a result, she packed her bags and set off to the world capital of yoga; Rishikesh, India. From here, Alex completed her yoga teacher training under the guidance of Yogrishi Vishvketu at Anand Prakash Ashram. Alex is now trained in levels 1, 2 and prenatal yoga. Her holistic lifestyle is reflected in her teaching; incorporating asanas, pranayama, chanting, philosophy and meditation. Alex has now a bachelor’s in Nutritional Science and continues to deepen her knowledge of the Yogic field. Her mission is to instil passion in others to live a happy, healthy and holistic life through the path of yoga

200hr AKHANDA YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
This complete teacher training will run over one year. Running the last weekend of each month.
Starting the January 26 – 27th
through to November 30 – Dec 1
A foundational holistic teacher training that offers everything you need to learn to teach exceptional all-levels, beginner and intermediate holistic yoga classes. Our training follows the well-respected Akhanda Yoga curriculum, including studies in posture, breathing, sounding, meditation and yogic wisdom. You will also receive a copy of the 400-page Akhanda Yoga Teacher Training manual.
150 hr YIN YOGA & MINDFULNESS level 1 & 2 TEACHER TRAINING
OCTOBER 6th – 7th & 13- 14th FULL Weekends
NOVEMBER 3RD – 4TH & 10TH & 11TH FULL Weekends
DECEMBER 1st – 2nd FULL WEEKEND
A continuing program that offers teachers the opportunity to learn to teach Yin, an additional class approach to their yoga teaching repertoire. Teachers will also learn to deliver mindfulness skills within the scope of their yoga teaching.

DO I NEED TO BE AN EXPERIENCE YOGI?
Although it may help you to understanding and absorb the material of a YTT, significant Yoga experience is not required. It is however recommended that you have 50 hours of practice prior to commencing the course.
HOW LONG WILL THE TRAINING PROGRAME TAKE?
The program will take approximately 1 year, consisting of attendance at teacher training fixed-date sessions, 10 hours of class observations, 10 hours assistant teaching, 10 hours of self-mastery, 2 written and 2 practical exams.
WILL I BE FULLY QUALIFIED ONCE MY TRAINING FINISHES?
Yes! You will be fully certified to teach yoga classes. Furthermore, the graduates leaving our yoga teacher training program are known to be of a very high standard.
IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED?
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to secure you reservation in our training program. Final payment is required 30 days before our first training date.

WILL THE TRAINING INCUR ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS?
No. Everything is included. However, once you graduate, you will have to pay for your registration with Yoga Alliance.

WHERE WILL THE TRAINING BE HELD?
At our studio:111 Scarborough st, Southport. We ask that you arrive 10 minutes early, and will start with a 1HR yoga class.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Comfortable Yoga Wear. Our studio has air conditioning, so a light jumper/cardigan might be a good idea.
